Who we are
Legal Translation Centre is a translation office at Office 25-G, Ground Floor, Irshad Arcade, Aabpara Market, G-6/1, Islamabad.
Phone and WhatsApp: +92 316 5116576. Email: infolegaltranslationcentre@gmail.com.
What we collect
Show the full section
When you request a quote, the form asks for:
- your name, and how you would like us to reach you: WhatsApp, phone or email
- your phone number, and your email address if you want replies by email
- the languages, the type of document, the number of pages and whether you need a certified translation
- the country where you will use the document, when you need it, and how you would like to receive it
- any notes you add
If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we receive what you send, including any documents you attach. You can also upload documents on this website (see Documents you upload).
When you send the form, your internet (IP) address is used to stop spam and repeated sending. It is not added to your request.
How we store your request
Show the full section
When you send the quote form, we save your request in our order system, a database run by Supabase. It gets a receipt code that starts with LTC.
We store:
- your name, phone number and, if you gave one, your email address
- your answers to the form and any notes you add
- the receipt code and the order's progress, with dates
To track an order, you enter the receipt code and the last 4 digits of your phone number. Anyone with both can see the order's progress, your first name, the estimated date and the delivery method, so keep your code private.
When you track an order, your IP address is turned into a one-way code (a hash) to limit repeated attempts. We store that code, not your IP address.
Documents you upload
Show the full section
You can attach documents when you request a quote, or later from your account. Documents often contain personal information, such as names, dates of birth and ID numbers.
- They are kept in private storage run by Supabase. They are never public, and each download link works for one minute only.
- Only our office, and you when signed in to your account, can open the documents you send. Translations we prepare appear in your account only when we make them available to you.
- We use them only to prepare your translation and to answer questions about your order.
- The website checks that each file really is a PDF, an image or a Word document and refuses anything else. It does not scan files for viruses.
- When you upload, your IP address is turned into a one-way code (a hash) to limit repeated uploads. We store that code, not your IP address.
We keep uploaded files with your order record.
Files over 10 MB, or of other types, cannot be uploaded. Please send them on WhatsApp instead.
Translation verification codes
Show the full section
For some translations we issue a verification code (it starts with VER). The verification record holds only:
- the document type and the language pair
- the date it was issued
- optionally, a fingerprint of the issued PDF file (a one-way code computed from the file; the file itself is not part of the record)
It holds no names, phone numbers, email addresses, receipt codes or file names. Anyone who has the code can check it on our Verify page and see those details; keep it private if you do not want others to check it. When you use the page's file check, the file is compared in your browser and is not uploaded.
As with order tracking, the visitor's IP address is turned into a one-way code (a hash) to limit repeated attempts.
We keep verification records so that codes can still be checked later.
Online accounts
Show the full section
You can create an account to see your orders in one place. Accounts are run by Supabase Auth, part of the same service that stores our order records.
For each account we store:
- your email address
- your password, stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody can read it, including us
- when the account was created, when you last signed in and when your email was confirmed
Orders you request while signed in are linked to your account. You can also add an earlier order with its receipt code and the last 4 digits of the phone number on it. Once linked, an order is visible to you when you are signed in.
To close your account, email infolegaltranslationcentre@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +92 316 5116576.
Booked visits
Show the full section
When you book a visit to our office, we store:
- your name and phone number, and your email address if you give one
- the purpose you choose and any note you add
- the day and time of the visit, its reference code (it starts with APT) and its status
We use these details only to manage the visit: to expect you, to find your booking when you ask, and to contact you if the time has to change. If you were signed in, the booking is linked to your account so you can see it there.
To look up or cancel a visit, you enter the reference code and the last 4 digits of your phone number. Anyone with both can see your first name and the visit’s time, purpose and status, so keep your code private. As with order tracking, your IP address is turned into a one-way code (a hash) to limit repeated attempts.
We keep booking records for as long as we need them to manage visits and for our business records.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply about your request: to send you a quote and, if you go ahead, to arrange your translation.
Who else receives it
Show the full section
We use a few services to run this website. Each one receives only what it needs for its job.
- Resend, our email delivery provider, carries your quote request to our inbox.
- Supabase stores quote requests, order records, online accounts and the documents you upload.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the form. It receives your IP address and information from your browser for this check.
- Our hosting provider runs the website and handles each visit to it.
- WhatsApp receives your messages if you choose to contact us there. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies.
- Google Maps loads only if you press the button to show the map. Until then, nothing is loaded from Google.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not run analytics or advertising trackers.
It sets one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, when you view the site in a language other than your browser's main language. It remembers your language choice and nothing else.
If you sign in, it also sets a sign-in cookie (its name starts with "sb-"). It keeps you signed in, is sent only to this website, and cannot be read by scripts on the page. Signing out removes it. It is needed for accounts to work, so it is not optional.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only as long as needed to respond, to complete your order and for our business records.
Correcting or deleting your details
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email infolegaltranslationcentre@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +92 316 5116576.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when document uploads launch. The date at the top shows the current version.
