An affidavit is a written statement sworn as true. People are asked for one to confirm a name, a date of birth, a relationship or their single status. We translate affidavits of every kind, keeping the first-person wording and each statement exactly as sworn.

What the translator checks
Before your translation is ready, we check these details against your original.
The person making it. Name, parentage and identity number of the person making the statement.
Statements. Each numbered statement, kept in the first person, as sworn.
Verification. The closing verification paragraph, translated in full.
Oath commissioner. The name, stamp and seal of the official the affidavit was sworn before.
Place and date. Where and when the affidavit was signed.
