English to Chinese translation in Islamabad
Students applying to Chinese universities, and companies working with Chinese partners, are often asked for Chinese versions of their documents. We translate English documents into Simplified Chinese, the standard written form in mainland China, and keep names, figures and dates exactly as in the original.
Documents we translate for Chinese
English to Chinese requests usually prepare transcripts and degrees for Chinese universities, or company papers for Chinese partners.
Good to know
- Mainland China uses Simplified characters, while Taiwan and Hong Kong use Traditional characters. When you ask for a quote, tell us which form your document uses and which form the reader expects.
- Chinese names put the family name first, as in Wang Wei, and are usually written in English in pinyin. Send the spelling used in your passport, so the order and spelling stay consistent.
- Chinese documents often carry a red company or office seal instead of, or beside, a signature. A clear colour copy shows the text inside the seal, which a translation usually needs to describe.
- Ask your university or partner whether they need your name in Chinese characters as well as in Latin letters. Names are kept as in your passport unless they ask for more.
Requirements change. Confirm what the reader needs with the authority before you send your document.

Questions and answers
Which Chinese do you translate into?
Simplified Chinese, the standard written form in mainland China. If your reader is in Taiwan or Hong Kong and needs Traditional characters, tell us when you ask for a quote, and we will confirm what we can provide.
Can you translate my transcripts into Chinese for a scholarship?
Yes. Transcripts and degrees are common requests from students applying to Chinese universities. Check the university's instructions first, because some ask for English documents only and others ask for Chinese as well. Send every page of each transcript, including the grading key, so the reader can follow your marks.
How will my name appear in the Chinese translation?
Your name stays in Latin letters, exactly as in your passport. If your university or partner asks for a Chinese form of your name too, tell us, and we will discuss how it can be added.
Can you translate company documents into Chinese?
Yes. Company profiles, contracts and powers of attorney for Chinese partners are common requests. Send every page and tell us who will read them, so the terms fit the reader. Company names stay as registered, in Latin letters, unless your partner already uses an agreed Chinese name, which you can send us.
