English to Arabic translation in Islamabad

People going to work, study or join family in Saudi Arabia, the UAE or Qatar are often asked for Arabic versions of their Pakistani documents. We translate English documents into Modern Standard Arabic, the written form used across the Arab world, laid out from right to left, with names spelt the way you give them.

Documents we translate for Arabic

English to Arabic requests usually prepare papers for a job, a residence permit or a family move to the Gulf.

Good to know

  • Arabic is written from right to left, and one name can appear in English as Abdul Rahman, Abdulrahman or Abd al-Rahman. Send the spelling from your passport or visa, so it matches across your documents.
  • Documents from the Gulf often show dates in both the Hijri and the Gregorian calendar. Look at both dates on your original before you send it, so any difference is clear from the start.
  • Arabic documents may use Eastern Arabic numerals (٠١٢٣) instead of 0123. Check passport, contract and certificate numbers on your copy, because these are what officials compare first.
  • Ask the employer, sponsor or embassy whether they want an Arabic translation only or both languages side by side. Tell us their answer when you ask for a quote.

Requirements change. Confirm what the reader needs with the authority before you send your document.

Questions and answers

Which Arabic do you translate into?

Modern Standard Arabic, the written form used for official documents across the Arab world. It is the same whether the reader is in Riyadh, Dubai or Doha. Spoken dialects differ from country to country, but written documents follow the standard form.

How will my Pakistani name be written in Arabic?

Names are written in Arabic letters to match how they sound. If you already have an Arabic spelling on a Gulf visa, residence card or earlier document, send it to us and we will use the same spelling, so your records agree.

Can you translate my degree into Arabic for a job in the Gulf?

Yes. Degrees, transcripts and experience letters are common requests before a move to the Gulf. Tell us the country and the reader, such as an employer or a ministry, and check with them what else they need, because requirements change and differ by country.

Does an Arabic translation keep the right-to-left layout?

Yes. Arabic reads from right to left, so the translation is laid out that way, with numbers and dates set in the order an Arabic reader expects. Tables and lists follow the structure of your original document as closely as the language allows.
