Arabic to English translation in Islamabad
Many families in Pakistan hold Arabic documents from years of work or study in the Gulf: contracts, salary letters, degrees and marriage records. To use them in Pakistan or a third country, the reader usually needs English. We translate Arabic into English for individuals, lawyers and companies, and we keep names, numbers and dates exactly as they appear.
Documents we translate for Arabic
Arabic to English requests usually come from people who worked or studied in the Gulf, so employment papers and degrees lead the list.
Good to know
- Arabic is written from right to left, and one name can appear in English as Abdul Rahman, Abdulrahman or Abd al-Rahman. Send the spelling from your passport or visa, so it matches across your documents.
- Documents from the Gulf often show dates in both the Hijri and the Gregorian calendar. Look at both dates on your original before you send it, so any difference is clear from the start.
- Arabic documents may use Eastern Arabic numerals (٠١٢٣) instead of 0123. Check passport, contract and certificate numbers on your copy, because these are what officials compare first.
- Gulf documents may give your name only in Arabic. Write down the exact English spelling from your passport or residence card and send it with the document.

Questions and answers
Can you translate an Arabic employment contract from Saudi Arabia or the UAE into English?
Yes. Employment contracts, experience letters and salary certificates from the Gulf are common requests. Send every page, including stamps and any page that only has a signature, and tell us who will read the English, such as an employer, a bank or an embassy.
My Arabic document has Hijri and Gregorian dates. Which one goes in the translation?
The translation shows the dates the original shows. If a date appears in both calendars, both are translated. If only a Hijri date appears and your reader needs a Gregorian one, tell us when you ask for a quote, and we will explain what we can add.
Do Eastern Arabic numerals change in the English translation?
Yes. Numbers written as ٠١٢٣ appear as 0123 in English, so the reader can compare them. We copy every digit as it is on the original. Check important numbers, such as passport, contract and certificate numbers, on your copy before you send it.
Can I bring my Arabic certificates to your Islamabad office?
Yes. Walk in during office hours or book a visit, and bring the originals with any copies you have. We will look at them with you and give you a quote. You can collect the translation later, or ask for courier or email delivery.
