English to German translation in Islamabad
Germany attracts Pakistani students, skilled workers and families, and many offices there ask for documents in German. We translate English documents into German, with nouns, compound terms and dates set out the way a German reader expects, and with names spelt exactly as in your passport.
Documents we translate for German
English to German requests usually prepare degrees, transcripts and work papers for a university, an employer or a visa in Germany.
Good to know
- German nouns start with a capital letter, and words join into long compounds such as Geburtsurkunde, which means birth certificate. Each compound has one precise official meaning.
- German has the letters ä, ö, ü and ß, which are sometimes written ae, oe, ue and ss in names. Tell us the spelling in your passport, so your documents stay consistent.
- German school and university grades often run from 1, the best, to 6, the lowest, the reverse of many systems. A translation shows grades as they appear; converting them is for the receiving institution.
- Each German university, employer and office sets its own rules for translated documents. Ask them what they require, and tell us their answer before you order.
Requirements change. Confirm what the reader needs with the authority before you send your document.

Questions and answers
Do German universities accept translations from Pakistan?
That is for each university or office to decide, and the rules change. Some have rules about who may translate documents for them. Check with the university first, then tell us what it asked for, and we will tell you what we can provide.
Can you translate my work experience letters into German?
Yes. Experience letters, contracts and salary certificates are common requests for jobs in Germany. Send every page, including letterheads and stamps, and tell us the job title in English as it appears on the letter.
How will my Pakistani name be written in German?
Exactly as in your passport, in Latin letters. German does not change foreign names. If your documents spell your name in different ways, tell us which spelling to use throughout.
Can I book a visit to discuss a German translation?
Yes. Book a visit to our office in Aabpara Market, or walk in during office hours. Bring your documents and any instructions from the German office, and we will go through them with you. You can also send scans on WhatsApp first, so we can look at them before your visit.
