English to Spanish translation in Islamabad

Pakistani families joining relatives in Spain, students heading to Spanish universities and workers with job offers there are often asked for Spanish versions of their documents. We translate English documents into Spanish with the accents, name order and date format a reader in Spain expects, and we keep every number exactly as it is.

Documents we translate for Spanish

English to Spanish requests usually prepare family and education records for a move to Spain or a visa application.

Good to know

  • Spanish names usually carry two surnames, the first from the father and the second from the mother, as in María García López. Tell us how your name appears in your passport, so the order stays the same everywhere.
  • Spanish uses accents and the letter ñ, and they are part of the spelling. A surname such as Muñoz or Peña must look the same on every document you send.
  • Spanish documents write dates as day, month, year, and use a comma for decimals and a point for thousands. Check amounts and dates on your original before you send it.
  • Offices in Spain decide what kind of translation they will read, and their rules change. Ask the office that will receive your papers what it requires, and tell us before you order.

Requirements change. Confirm what the reader needs with the authority before you send your document.

Where it is used

Spanish is an official language in these countries, and we have experience with their embassies. Requirements change, so confirm them with the embassy.

Questions and answers

Can you translate my birth certificate into Spanish for a family visa?

Yes. Birth and marriage certificates are common requests for families joining relatives in Spain. Confirm with the embassy or the Spanish office what kind of translation they accept, because rules change and differ from one office to another.

How will my name appear in the Spanish translation?

Exactly as in your passport. Spanish names normally have two surnames, but a Pakistani name keeps its own form. If your documents spell your name in different ways, tell us which spelling to use.

Is Spanish for Spain different from Spanish for Latin America?

Written Spanish is largely shared, but some words and official terms differ. Tell us the country of the reader, and we will use the terms that country expects. For a reader in Spain, we write the Spanish used in Spain.

Can you translate a power of attorney into Spanish?

Yes. A power of attorney for someone in Spain to act for you is a common request. Ask the person or office in Spain who will use it what else they need, because the form of the document itself can matter as much as its language.
