Spanish to English translation in Islamabad
Spanish documents reach Pakistan from Spain and Latin America: civil registry records, marriage certificates, degrees and powers of attorney signed abroad. Offices and courts in Pakistan, and many embassies, usually need them in English. We translate Spanish into English and keep both surnames, accents and every date exactly as on the original.
Documents we translate for Spanish
Spanish to English requests usually involve family records and powers of attorney from Spain, often for families with relatives there.
Good to know
- Spanish names usually carry two surnames, the first from the father and the second from the mother, as in María García López. Tell us how your name appears in your passport, so the order stays the same everywhere.
- Spanish uses accents and the letter ñ, and they are part of the spelling. A surname such as Muñoz or Peña must look the same on every document you send.
- Spanish documents write dates as day, month, year, and use a comma for decimals and a point for thousands. Check amounts and dates on your original before you send it.
- Spanish civil registry certificates come in short and full versions. Check which version you have, and ask the reader which one they expect before you order the translation.
Requirements change. Confirm what the reader needs with the authority before you send your document.
Where it is used
Spanish is an official language in these countries, and we have experience with their embassies. Requirements change, so confirm them with the embassy.

Questions and answers
How are two Spanish surnames shown in the English translation?
Both surnames stay, in the same order as on the original, with accents kept. If your passport shows your name differently, for example with one surname, tell us, and we will explain how the translation can show it clearly.
Can you translate a power of attorney signed in Spain into English?
Yes. Powers of attorney signed in Spain are often used for property or family matters in Pakistan. Send every page, including stamps and any pages added after signing, and check with your lawyer what else the office in Pakistan needs.
My document is from Latin America, not Spain. Is that different?
The language is Spanish in both cases, but terms for documents and offices differ by country. Tell us the issuing country, such as Mexico or Argentina, so the English names of offices and documents match that country.
Can I send my Spanish documents by email?
Yes. Send clear scans through the quote form or on WhatsApp, and we will reply with what the translation involves. You can receive the English translation as a PDF by email, by courier, or collect it from our office.
