French to English translation in Islamabad
French documents come from France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada and much of Africa: diplomas, transcripts, work letters and civil records. Employers, universities and offices in Pakistan usually need them in English. We translate French into English, keep accents in names and places, and use the terms that fit the country your document came from.
Documents we translate for French
French to English requests often come from students and workers returning with diplomas, transcripts and employment letters.
Good to know
- French uses accents such as é, è and ç, which change spelling and sometimes meaning. Names of people and places keep their accents exactly as on the original document.
- French documents write dates as day, month, year, and numbers use a comma for decimals and a space between thousands. Check amounts, marks and dates on your copy before you send it.
- French is an official language in many countries, including France, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland and much of West and North Africa. Tell us which country will read the translation, because names of documents and institutions differ.
- French diplomas and transcripts often use national grading scales, such as marks out of 20. A translation shows the marks as written, so keep the grading key that came with your document.
Requirements change. Confirm what the reader needs with the authority before you send your document.

Questions and answers
Can you translate a French diploma and transcript into English?
Yes. Send the diploma, every page of the transcript and any grading key. The translation shows marks exactly as written, for example out of 20. Converting them to another system is a decision for the receiving university or employer.
My document is from Canada or Africa, not France. Does that matter?
It can. French is shared, but the names of documents, schools and offices differ by country. Tell us the issuing country, such as Canada, Senegal or Morocco, so the English names match what that country uses.
Are French accents kept in names in the English translation?
Yes. Names of people and places keep their accents, such as é or ç, as on the original. If your passport spells a name without accents, tell us, and we will explain how the translation can show both.
Can I visit your office with French documents?
Yes. Walk in to our office in Aabpara Market during office hours, or book a visit so we expect you. Bring the originals, and we will look at them with you and give you a quote. You can also send scans on WhatsApp first, so the quote is ready when you visit.
