Document translation

Personal document translation

Personal documents record the main events of a life: birth, marriage, divorce and death. Embassies, schools and family courts abroad often ask for them in their own language. We translate union council and NADRA certificates, the Nikah Nama and certificates issued in other countries, carrying every name, date and entry across exactly as it appears.

When people need it

  • Visa and immigration applications, including family and spouse visas
  • Enrolling a child in a school or university abroad
  • Family matters abroad, such as registering a birth or a marriage, or changing a surname

What to bring

  • The original certificate or Nikah Nama, or a clear scan of every page
  • The back of each page too, if anything is printed or stamped on it
  • Every person's name as spelled in their passport
  • A clear scan if entries are handwritten or faded

What the translator checks

Before your translation is ready, we check these details against your original.

  • Names. Each person's name and parentage, spelled as in the passports you give us.

  • Dates. Dates of birth, marriage and registration, with the month written in words so none can be misread.

  • Places. Town, district, hospital or union council, exactly as recorded.

  • Every entry. Each field and numbered clause of the Nikah Nama, including those left blank, so nothing appears to be missing.

  • Stamps and signatures. Each stamp, seal and signature is marked in the translation, and any readable text in it is translated.
